Avoid quoting from an outdated datasheet
Source files should remain traceable to their issuer and revision. A copied table without its conditions can turn a qualified specification into an unsupported promise.
Retain provenance
Store the source title, revision, date and model coverage with the reviewed values.
Resolve disagreement
When records conflict, flag the field and ask for clarification. Do not choose the larger distance or lower power merely because it looks better.
Control distribution
Check permission before sharing supplier files. Keep confidential customer data out of public downloads.
