Check warranty coverage before ordering; preserve evidence if a fault occurs
Warranty duration, provider, exclusions and return arrangements depend on the written offer for the exact product. An OEM reference in the catalog does not establish an OEM warranty entitlement. Confirm these items before the purchase order, especially when comparing genuine and third-party options.
Before purchase
Request the coverage period, starting date, responsible service provider, claim procedure and responsibility for return freight. Keep the quotation and invoice with the selected model and serial numbers.
When reporting a fault
Send the order reference, affected serial number, host and firmware, symptoms and relevant counters. Describe whether the problem follows the module, cable, port or peer device when exchanged safely.
Before shipping a return
Obtain written return instructions and an agreed destination. Keep packaging and labels, protect connectors and do not return goods to an assumed factory address or dismantle the module without agreement.
Your next step
A request starts a review; it is not automatic approval of replacement, refund or freight reimbursement. The next step may be remote checks, additional records or an authorized return, subject to the agreed terms.
